The Pearl Resort, Spa & Golf Course has the great honour of being the official host of the 11th World Supermodel Production Final. The international event will be held from 1st to 7th April with contestants from 24 countries competing for the crown.
The winner will receive a one year contract with New York Model Management.
Duane Gazi-White, will be flying in to attend the event as a head judge; ”I love FIJI!!! Such a beautiful and welcoming place. The people are just so kind and lovely. This will be my 5th trip to Fiji.” says Mr Gazi-White, New York Models Director of Scouting & Development.
The Pearl Resort has been hosting the competition on and off since 2009. This is an international event and has been a great platform to promote Fiji as a destination and the resort. Coverage has been provided previously via local and international media and will also be broadcasted by Go Indie TV.
This year’s event is on a much larger scale as it’s the international event with 24 countries competing. The event will be bigger and better than before! Several locations in and around the resort and Pacific Harbour will be used in the lead up to the event while the participants compete for the crown.
Mr Gazi-White feels that “just sharing information about the model industry and events like this just increase the profile of models from all corners of the world. With each event I think that the Fijian community learns more and more about the modelling industry. We are thrilled to be making this trip to your beautiful islands once again”. The Fiji contestant is yet to be announced.
