A three day training on sustainable development and sustainable tourism goals is underway in Port Moresby.
This training is facilitated by the PNG Tourism Industry Association (PNGTIA) in partnership with the PNG Tourism Promotion Authority in association with Pacific Asia tourism and global tourism council.
This training is aimed at introducing sustainable development and sustainable tourism and linking that to business and policy.
It hopes that participants will learn about the UN’s sustainable development goals and its linkages to policy, more importantly participants will learn about how they can apply minimum international standards to their businesses.
All participants who complete the training will receive a certificate.
This is the first training workshop PNGTIA is holding and it is also the start of more trainings in 2018 for its members and the wider industry.
PNGTIA is delighted to have PNGTPA co-sponsor this important training workshop.
