Tourism Fiji is delighted with the huge support that has poured in for the Bulanaires Program in 2020. To date we’ve received nominations from over 80 businesses across Fiji’s tourism industry.
If you don’t know already – a Bulanaire is a person that is rich in happiness and shares the Bula Spirit with others.
In early February, Tourism Fiji held information sessions across the country with tourism industry partners to talk about the Bulanaires campaign. The response has been overwhelming with the tourism industry announcing their Bulanaires during ‘Happiness Month’ to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Happiness on 20th March.
Tourism Fiji is helping participating operators bring the campaign to life in their own special way – like enticing special offers during the entire month of March.
Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Matthew Stoeckel said, “Bulanaires is not just another campaign for us. It’s much more than that. It’s a platform that industry can all get behind and directly participate in promoting as well as bringing the Bula Spirit to life across the month of March. It’s great to see the uptake of industry in bringing the Bulanaire program to life.”
The Bulanaires campaign also features heavily in Fiji Airways award-winning in-flight magazine, on their boarding passes and on in-flight entertainment. So, visitors know about the Bulanaires campaign before they even reach Fiji.
We’ll be announcing more Bulanaires shortly so watch this space!
