Tour Managers (Fiji) Ltd has appointed new Executive and Management positions.
Managing Director Damend Gounder said that the appointment of young people in senior positions which he thinks will add more enthusiasm to the company.
The positions are needed to facilitate new expansion projects from the source markets, he says.
“Our expansion plans for the three companies will require good leaders to handle the investment and returns.”

Ioane Naivalurua- company General Manager
Mr Naivalurua has been with Tour Managers for the past three years and served in marketing positions at Tourism Fiji and the Ministry of Tourism. He is currently the Business Development Manager for the company.
Pooja Natash – General Manager for Paradise Brides Ltd.
The company specialises in wedding and events planning. “Our wedding business has expanded immensely and it requires someone who has the “eye for details” to continue the growth. Ms Natash has developed and expanded Paradise Brides and with the company’s new contract for Starwood weddings. She is currently the company director.
Praneet Prakash – General Manager Finance
Mr Prakash takes charge of the overall Financial management for Tour Managers, Yatule Resorts and Paradise Brides Ltd.
Mr Gounder commented saying: “As per our succession plans and with Praneet playing a pivotal role in the expansion programmes, he has demonstrated the ability to handle the duties in this new position.”
Derrick Narayan – company Operational and Human Resources Manager.
Mr Narayan has worked in similar roles with other organisations and with the increase in operational and human resources activities, a person in this substantial role is required to support the Tour Managers, Paradise Brides and Yatule Resorts teams.
Tour Managers has increased staff numbers in its China office and is taking delivery of seven new coaches.
This is to cater for the increase in new contracts and business.
The coaches are scheduled to arrive within the next three months.
There are two in the country already and are undergoing signage and registration.
“We are on the verge of launching our new B2B online reservations system for the western market. This will complement our new FIT Fiji online reservations system already launched and showing immense results in China and Asia.
The opening of new outlets in Pacific Harbour and Suva this month and our new concierge office at the airport requires a person to lead the company in this business.
The investment for the coaches and the two reservations systems is approximately $2.5m.
