South Sea Cruises Extension to the Suspension of Services through to 30 November 2020

South Sea Cruises Extension to the Suspension of Services through to 30 November 2020 – Issue 7, 10 September 2020

South Sea Cruises has made the decision to further extend the temporary suspension of our operations through to 30 November 2020. It has become clear that travel from key source markets to Fiji is unlikely to resume prior to 01 December 2020 at the earliest.

We will review our ability to operate services again from 01 December 2020 closer to this date or in line with any changes to international border restrictions and/or airline schedules.

We request that you kindly make contact with any guests travelling up to 30 November 2020 and advise them of this extended travel restriction and the revised suspension of our services.

This extension includes the following services:

  • All South Sea Cruises Day Cruise operations (including South Sea Island and Seaspray Day Adventures)
  • Malamala Beach Club
  • South Sea Cruises Resort Connections to both the Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands

South Sea Cruises will continue to review our ability to operate services again from 01 December onward and will issue further updates closer to this date.

We would kindly request agents and or customers already booked on any of these effected services to please contact our reservations team on +679 675 0500 or by email on to defer travel dates or discuss cancellation options.

As a reminder, our cancellation policy is as follows for both our day cruises and resort connection services:

  • All cancellations need to be received in writing and any cancellations received more than 24 hours before a booked departure are entitled to receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations received within 24 hours of booked travel or no shows will be charged at 100%.
