The recent confirmation that there are no remaining COVID 19 cases in Fiji is a warm welcome on the road to recovery. As we look towards the future and the opportunity to welcome back our beloved guests, we recognise that the future will include a new approach to how we travel and explore the world. Raffe Hotels and Resorts are committed to continue to provide exceptional holiday experiences for our guests, across all 3 of our properties. We have been working with trusted specialists in hygiene services and technologies to develop a set of standards that will form our hygiene promise to our guests.

Our ‘Savasava’ Hygiene Promise is detailed in a separate document accompanying this statement.

Plantation Island Resort
The property remains closed with an onsite Management Team maintaining the resort and implementing new hygiene and sanitation procedures for future guests. The property will remain closed until 31st July 2020.

Guests with current bookings affected by COVID 19
We are encouraging guests who are unable to travel to postpone rather than cancel. If a guest chooses to hold their booking in credit, they have the option of rebooking for any dates through to 31st March 2022. Guests may rebook on their initial rate with all offers and inclusions. OR they may choose to rebook using a different special provided it is current at the time of rebooking.

Cancellation Policy for New bookings
New bookings will now require a deposit of one night’s accommodation to secure the booking. Full refund is available for cancellations received in writing up to 24 hours prior to arrival.

Lomani Island Resort
Lomani Island Resort is pleased to confirm that it will be completing its public areas redevelopment project. Unfortunately, the impact of COVID19 has delayed the project and the resort will be welcoming guests from 1st October 2020 instead of the previously advised 01 September 2020.
Once completed, Lomani will feature a stunning new Reception & Lobby Bure, plus fully refurbished pool, and a luxe poolside Bar Bure. Positioned in the middle of the Resort, these new facilities will sit alongside our cool and casual open-air Restaurant, surrounded by lush landscaped gardens and swaying coconut palms.
We are excited to be heading into this new era for Lomani Island Resort and the team are already working on a brand-new welcome song to sing their greeting to you very soon!

Fiji Gateway Hotel
Nadi’s flagship hotel has continued to welcome our local families, friends and corporate travellers since the cessation of international flights to Fiji. These guests are enjoying the same warm, genuine hospitality as always, along with the comfort, convenience and cleanliness that Fiji Gateway Hotel is renowned for.

We have also taken the opportunity to finish some refurbishment work in our Reception and Lobby area. This now completes the extensive public area upgrade that Gateway has undertaken over the past two years. We are delighted with the rejuvenated new look that celebrates the Hotel’s original architecture incorporated with fresh, modern finishes and tropical highlights. We look forward to sharing with you on your first night back in Fiji!
