Scenic Group has appointed Anthony Laver as Group General Manager, Sales and Marketing for the Scenic Group in Australia/Asia Pacific region, commencing 18 October 2017 and based in the Scenic Group Sydney office.
Laver joins Scenic from Destination New South Wales, where he spent the past eight years as General Manager Marketing, responsible for creating the strategic marketing plans to grow the NSW overnight visitor economy, and overseeing a team of more than 40 people who implemented the programs for more than 140 annual events and integrated campaigns.
Prior to his role at Destination NSW, Anthony was the Director of Olympic Marketing for Volkswagen Group China, based in Beijing, he held the position of GM, Olympic Marketing / Brand Alliance for Westfield Group, and was the Director of Marketing, Asia Pacific for Warner Bros Consumer Products (a division of Time Warner).
