In June the entire New Caledonian delegation comprising representatives of Nouvelle-Calédonie Tourisme Point Sud, hoteliers, destination agencies and airlines will visit major cities in France and Italy during a roadshow arranged to meet professionals in the tourism industry.

The archipelago is very popular with the French who represent more than 30% of tourists to New Caledonia, a destination that obviously gets the pulses of the nation racing.

The New Caledonian delegation will participate in 5 key meetings. The road show begins with a stopover in Milan, Italy on 3 June, then heads to Lyon, France (June 4), Bordeaux (5 June), then Paris (6 June) and finally Versailles (7 June at noon) to wrap up the meetings.

Each of these events will be an opportunity for all participants (production managers and travel agents) to discover or take a new look at New Caledonia with tourism oriented training. The agenda will include presentation of the destination and B2B meetings to exchange and discuss with the partners present.

A total of 9 exhibitors will make the trip from the archipelago to meet metropolitan tourism professionals, including:

Note that several airlines will also be partners in the event. Air France, Qantas, Alitalia, Emirates and Finnair will join exhibitors on certain stages of the roadshow to meet the participants who choose which stage they would like to attend.

This roadshow will be the opportunity to share and talk about the cultural and natural wealth of New Caledonia!
