Sharp industry airfares with Aircalin and a selection of trade deals with New Caledonia properties and transport operators are encouraging New Zealand agents to conduct a self famil of the destination.The deals are open to all agents, with a companion add-on, but New Caledonia Tourism and Aircalin are giving the self famils a push over the next few weeks during lunches aimed specifically at the major travel broker groups.

They started yesterday with a lunch and workshop for TMG brokers.The cornerstone of the self famil is a $99 fare for the agent, and a $199 companion fare (both excluding taxes).Vanessa Tjemplon, sales executive New Zealand with Aircalin, says the fares are available through to the end of March next year – trade should check blackout dates and other terms and conditions. Ground deals include 50% off Promenade Tours airport transfers, including access to the VIP lounge at Tontouta Airport with free wifi access there.A range of properties have discounts from 30% to 60%, including well known Noumea hotels such as Chateau Royal, Le Meridien Noumea, Hilton Noumea and Hotel Le Lagon.Deals can also be found at Sheraton Deva, Oure Lodge Beach Resort, Le Meridien Ile des Pines, Paradis D’Ouvea and others.

A round at Sheraton Deva Golf Course and Dumbea Golf Curse is free for the agent and sharply discounted for the companion.
