Hideaway Holidays B2C Project Tapa Launched

Hideaway Holidays – an Australian based South Pacific Destination Specialist Wholesaler has launched its dynamic booking website which marries up flights, hotels, transfers, meals, tours and other components within package pricing for the consumer market. The website also contains an extensive content, infographic, explore and video hub showcasing all facets of the South Pacific.

Known as Project TAPA, Hideaway Holidays Executive Director Mohit (Max) Bhanabhai asserts that “We have built TAPA from the inside out, completely in house with our own Intellectual Property and using Agile software teams between Ukraine, India, Fiji and Australia supported by our digital partner Indago Digital whom is based in Sydney. With our in house centres of excellence in Fiji and Australia – we are able to nurture our Online and Offline bridge – with bookings starting on the website leaving various audit trails – similar to pheromone messaging signals used in Nature’s teams – to enable our reservation team to complete the customer value proposition. Project TAPA phase one will support upto 8 adults and 8 children straight through, integrating Amadeus ePower API, wholesale system eXplorer Technologies, the Pacificbedbank API as well as EWAY and TravelPay payment gateway. We have engineered an innovation in the travel industry that will ensure that the South Pacific region will get the attention it deserves and allowing consumers (and also agents in the near future with phase 2 and a B2B version 2.0 portal) to seamlessly book end to end itineraries across all south pacific regions and resort types. We are passionate about developing significant growth within South Pacific tourism and support this amazing region realise its excess capacity economically”

Hideaway Holidays focuses exclusively on the South Pacific and promotes all regions and resort types from house pensions all the way to six stars. The website launched on Tuesday 5th November and has key features for phase one of its deployment. These include:

  2. Unique 3 step booking process within a rich visual UX/UI
  3. Its own content hub
  4. Pure Play South Pacific Destination Specialist Wholesaler and we also have a distinct B2B market
  5. Unique pre and post builder that factors flight arrival times with transfer times to outer island locations and automatically creates combo pre and post stays for mainland and Island resort combinations therefore creating a seamless and intuitive logistical experience for the end user. There are various prompts on the site that takers the user through a journey into the South Pacific to ensure that they do not need to go anywhere else to build an end to end holiday itinerary.

Hideaway Holidays is currently working on phase two of the platform which will give support to B2B partners to use some of the intellectual property within a white labelled and customised UX/UI interface with a full supporting suite of agent support services, chat bots and integrations. In addition, SPANN which stands for South Pacific Agent Neural Network is currently being incubated which will give agents globally access to tacit knowledge that Hideaway Holidays has nurtured over three decades in selling and creating South Pacific packages. Phase 2 will also integrate SiteMinder, thereby allowing access to dynamic pricing and inventory for hotel components within packages.
