Hexagon Group of Hotels ventures into new resort on the Coral Coast

An investment of more than $50 million by the Hexagon Group of Hotels will soon see the opening of Yadua Bay Resort and Villas.

Hexagon Group of Hotels Chairman Hafiz Khan says they are excited to venture onto the coral coast.

Khan says the opening of the new multi-million dollar resort shows their confidence in the economy.

“We are here to stay and this is just an indication that the best investor is the local investor who’s got confidence and commitment to the country to stay. We are obviously very pleased with this launch because it’s the first time we are doing something on the Coral Coast and on the coast its rare as large international corporate own resorts in these areas but this is locally owned.”

He says Yadua Resort is just located a few minutes from Sigatoka Town which will also create more than 100 jobs once fully operational.

Khan says the total project encompasses approximately 28 acres, made up of 89 individual Villas and a central Resort, with a beachfront.

Works are also expected to be completed by the end of the year.
