Fiji has seen 7.6% growth year to date out of New Zealand and Tourism Fiji’s chief executive officer expects more to come in the year ahead.
Matt Stoeckel says the New Zealand trade should be commended for the way it approaches the destination in terms of promoting options and niche market.
‘We’ve got a great in-market team in New Zealand and they work closely with the trade.’
Stoeckel says dispersal from the New Zealand market is a key aim this year. ‘We know Kiwis love Denarau, but we need to remind them of all the products and destinations in Fiji.’
