Growing Choice in Cook Islands to be Highlighted at Agents’ Event in AKL

The Cook Islands’ increasingly diverse range of accommodation will be one of the destinational features highlighted at a trade event in Auckland early next month.

The Love A Little Raro and Aitutaki Agent Update from 6pm to 8pm at Hilton Auckland on 4 September will showcase more than 20 resorts, airlines and destination management companies (DMCs).

Rachel Mackey, marketing manager New Zealand with Cook Islands Tourism Corporation, says the number of holiday homes continues to grow in the Cook Islands. ‘Cook Islands Holiday Villas is attending the event for the first time. This is a collective of nine villas in Rarotonga offering 65 beds. They are located in prime areas with access to some of the greatest beaches, restaurants and cafes and close to activities and tours provided in Raro.’

Mackey says other new participants at the event are Experience Cook islands DMC and Muri Beach Club Hotel.Other suppliers include Air New Zealand, Club Raro, Crown Beach Resort and Spa, Little Polynesian Resorts, Manuia Beach Resort, Moana Sands Villas, Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel, Moana Sands Lagoon Resort, Muri Beach Resort, Nautilus Resort Rarotonga, Pacific Resort Rarotonga, Pacific Resort Aitutaki Nui, Palm Grove, Royale Takitumu, Sunset Resort, Te Manava Luxury Villas, Te Vakaroa, The Edgewater Resort and Spa, Turama Pacific Travel Group and Virgin Australia.
